Event aftermovies in Dubai: what to expect from a night on camera

An aftermovie has one job: make people who were there relive the night, and make people who missed it want to come next time. We have filmed aftermovies for headline artists at Dubai venues; this is how the process works.

Before the night

We agree the story with the promoter or venue: the artist, the key moments in the set, the brand partners who need to appear, and where the film will be published.

A short run-of-show — doors, headliner, special effects, closing — tells the crew where to be at each moment.

During the event

The crew moves with the energy of the room: the build-up at the door, the crowd at the drop, the artist’s reactions, the details that only exist for a second.

Low-light venues need fast lenses and experience. Strobes, lasers and smoke are part of the look, not a problem to avoid.

After the event

The edit is cut to the music and the pace of the night. Typical deliverables are a main aftermovie, vertical teasers for social, and a set of photographs.

Delivery timing is agreed in advance, so the content can go out while people are still talking about the night.

What it costs

Shoots start from AED 700 per hour; an event aftermovie is quoted from the run-of-show, the length of coverage and the deliverables you need.
